A. Roles and Responsibilities of the Training Department

• Considers in setting the direction for training and enrichment plan for the Regional National Police Schools under the Training Department.
• Assigns and executes the training plan in compliance with the programs of the Police Academy of Cambodia and the Ministry of Interior.
• Researches and designs the studies materials, organizes the instruction, manages the teaching staff for the better conduct of the training.
• Manages the Regional National Police Schools under its department.
• Conducts the educational inspection, prepares the exam papers and manages the training courses at various subordinating schools of the department.
• Studies and researches for modernization of the instructional content, curriculum and the practicum.
• Issues the studies certificates for the successfully graduated students/trainees.
• Prepares the plan for budgeting, material supplies and means for serving the regional national police schools under the department.
• Makes the consolidating report, drawing on experiences of the content, the studies curriculum, teaching methods at each of the Post-Course Completion for making the report to the President of the Police Academy of Cambodia for improvement action of the future courses.
• Carries out the affairs of administration, personnel, logistics and accounting of the department as required.
• Performs other duties entrusted by the president of the Police Academy of Cambodia and the Minister of Interior.
